Loans
At Fletcher Challenge Employees Credit Union you can borrow money for almost anything – car, special events, appliances, and holiday or to help you reorganise your finances, including other debts.
Generally some form of security is required such as savings, property, motor vehicle or household contents. Most loans can be approved within 24 hours (mortgages might take a little longer).

Lending Rates
The interest rates depend on the size of the loan and the member’s
saving. To check our current interest rates click here.
Application Fees
The fees vary. If you have as much saved as you want to borrow, there is
NO FEE. Where application fees are charged, they are very competitive with
other lending institutions. If a credit check is required, the cost will
be passed on to the member.
CUI Insurance
Loans are covered by insurance, FREE to eligible members, up to a maximum
of $20,000. We can arrange insurance for you for loans above this level.
This repays the loan if you suffer death or permanent disability and cannot
return to work after illness or accident. This is not the same as Loan
Repayment Insurance.
How to
Apply
Please complete the separate Loans and Lending application form. We can fax
one to you on request so you can complete it in your own time and send
or bring it back to us. However, all loans must be funded in our office
with you present. Right
